• What can you expect from your first cello lesson?

  You can expect a bit of chatting. I ask a lot of questions to get a sense of your musical background and experience, your goals, your motivations for starting lessons, etc. Then, we will go into how to sit with the cello properly, and look at left hand positioning to begin plucking the strings. You will be reading music and playing the cello by the end of the lesson! We will end the lesson with a little overview of pricing, how the studio works, and I may give a bit of “homework” to send you off.
